Looking for 40 BPM Technical Analyst / Consultant – EU (UK or Spain Based with travel)

Range of Salary - £30,000-£60,000 if based in the UK (candidates need to move to Spain or the UK) - permanent role in a Consultancy Company. It is important that the candidates know that there is a lot of travel involved in the EU so they need to be EU. When they are not travelling they will be based from home (in the UK or Spain)

Main Purpose of Role
  • Lead business process improvement and BPMS projects from a technical perspective
  • Collaborate with Process Consultants to transform captured requirements into automated solutions using a BPM Suite
  • Design process flows, data structures, business logic and user interfaces
  • Integrate solutions with 3rd party and legacy systems
  • Test developed solutions for conformance with requirements
  • Define standards and methods for BPMS process implementation
  • Travel: 50 - 75%

Key Tasks & Accountabilities
  • Provide technical input into requirements for “To Be” processes, including process design, data models, business rules, management information
  • Creation of automated workflow solutions using a BPMS
  • Act as interface between BPM team and technology areas (IT, Development)
  • Testing and roll out of redesigned processes and solutions
  • Documenting and maintaining the methods for BPMS process implementation
  • Training on the system to our clients
  • Support services to our actual clients

  • Process and data modelling

  • Strong knowledge of C# and Javascript
  • SQL Server or Oracle database

Description of the Requested Service


The business analysts pool request will ensure that the agency has the capacity to answer internal business analysis queries and for project purposes in a proactive manner.

Description of the profile


 The Business Analyst(s) must have:


  • Formal qualifications (at least Bachelor) in Business/Economics, Engineering, IT or Medicines/Drugs fields. – Degrees obtained in the EU/EEA are an advantage.
  • At least 6 years of professional experience with a minimum 4 years of experience in business analysis domain. The professional experience should be preferably in a business field related to Life Sciences or Public sector.

  • FLUENT ENGLISH communication skills required.



Skills/knowledge



Project deliverables:

·         Experience in producing Business case, Business vision, gathering requirements, detailing use cases and mock-ups.

·         Ability to review project deliverables for completeness and quality and following RUP methodology.


Requirements gathering:

·         Ability to gather requirements and develop these based on input from a variety of sources including Proof of Concept, the business and analysis results.

·         Ability to analyse and manage the collected requirements including defining prioritisation, scope boundaries, classification and traceability.

·         Ability to translate the requirements into detailed analysis and design specifications in the appropriate level of quality expected by IT.

·         Work in close collaboration with the Data Architect.



Business process modelling:

·         Ability to analyse and design business processes (BPMN).

·         Experience with analysis and modelling techniques including use cases, activity diagram, sequence diagram, class diagrams to produce functional specifications. (UML analysis - use cases, activity, sequence, class diagrams as appropriate).

·         Experience in BPMN, UML, ER Model, EPC Model.

·         Experience with modelling software: Enterprise Architect, Rational Rose, ARIS, Visio

·         Experience with wireframing tools



Business problem & options analysis:

·         Experience with business problem analysis, identification of options; cost/benefit of alternatives, etc.

·         Experience with performing feasibility studies, benefits modelling, and business case development.

·         Identification of Business processes and system changes and identification of options to support the implementation of those changes



Communication & organisation:

·         Ability to host and communicate requirements to the internal/external team for the design and implementation of new solution from a functional perspective.

·         Ability to perform status updates as well as meeting engagement and ownership

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·         Strong documentation and organisation skills.

·         Ability to plan, estimate, perform risk assessment and quality assurance with programme and project management

We are looking either for a generalist covering all the criteria or a highly specialised in one of the two domains:

  • Specialist in Business case and Business process analysis who is highly numerate
  • Specialist in requirements and functional specifications (Use cases, Wireframe etc.) who is a highly detailed person and produces concise and clear documents. Particular attention will be given to profile having worked on projects related to User experience



In all cases, compliance with in-house methodology and experience on quality review is necessary.



A profile with extended experience would be necessary to support complex topics and contribute to quality assurance.
