El informe "The IA Global Market Report 2019 H1" es el 5to. de una serie de informes sobre Automatización Inteligente que SSON publica dos veces al año. Cada año, sus Informes de Mercado Globales sobre Automatización Inteligente (IA) se centran en un aspecto clave de la adopción e implementación de IA. 2017 fue el año del "qué y cómo" de IA, y tanto los informes H1 como H2 elaboraron la definición y respuesta de ese desafío. En 2018, consideraron lo que se requiere para escalar con éxito la automatización en toda la empresa, definieron más de una docena de puntos de atención y ofrecieron  consejos sobre cómo sortearlos. El informe H1 fue para aquellos que se embarcan en el viaje de automatización; H2 para aquellos que ya llevan unos años. En 2019, se trata de apoyar la transformación a través de una gestión eficaz del cambio. La falta de un soporte efectivo para la gestión de cambios, según su encuesta de 2019, es el principal caso de "fracaso" de automatización. SSON indica que un plan de gestión de cambios bien pensado y adherido debe ser un elemento crítico en la estrategia de automatización. La gestión eficaz del cambio impulsa el éxito. Por el contrario, cualquier brecha en la gestión del cambio hará que el programa se estanque.

Más del 70% de los expertos en automatización e inteligencia artificial citan que la automatización inteligente es la máxima prioridad de inversión para ellos. Y el 92% ha mencionado que gestionar el cambio y la cultura es su principal desafío para lograr la implementación exitosa de la automatización inteligente.  

SSON comenta que con la Transformación Digital,  no está lejos el día cuando la automatización se convertirá en una forma de vida para las empresas futuras.
