New BOOK: the second edition of Fundamentals of BPM

Springer has announced the second edition of Fundamentals of BPM:

The second edition includes:
- Substantially enhanced and revised chapters on process identification, process discovery, process analysis, process redesign, and process monitoring.
- An extended coverage of the process implementation phase of the lifecycle across two chapters (as opposed to one chapter in the previous edition). One of these chapter is entirely dedicated to process-aware information systems and the other to executable process modelling. The former chapter provides an overview of packaged enterprise systems that support the automation of business processes, including ERP, CRM, SCM, and ECM systems, in addition to an in-depth coverage of BPMSs. The second chapter chapter is focused on designing executable BPMN models for process implementation on top of BPMSs.
- A new chapter on BPM as an enterprise capability, which expands the scope of the book to encompass topics such as strategic alignment and governance of BPM initiatives. This chapter will be of special interest to those of you who teach BPM in business schools.
- Even more exercises: 232 exercises versus 174 in the first edition, which makes it about 20 exercises per chapter on average.

They have updated the companion web site with lecture slides, video recordings, and other supplementary teaching material to match the second edition:
